The Road Warrior Forever site was born February 14,
1999. - The original site contained only sections on the first two movies, the 1987 Broken Hill trip, and a French version. It was launched on free webspace provided by the author's Internet Service Provider.
- A few months later, traffic levels regularly overwhelm the ISP's traffic quota allocated for the free web space and RWF has to shut down and find a new, (paying) more roomy home
- January 8, 2000: RWF establishes a permanent new home on its own server at www.max.org. In the following months, the site will grow from a few megabytes to about 100 MB.
- September 2000: a more sophisticated HTML editor allows for better design and creativity.
- Before and After gallery. A small sample of pixel work that went into creating the images seen here.
- February 14, 2002: RWF has survived the cyberwastelands 3 years.
